In Marokko, wo mehr als 6000 Reiter diesen spektakul\u00e4ren Sport praktizieren, l\u00e4sst sich der Brauch besonders gut entdecken. Staunend stehe ich in einer Wolke aus rotbraunem Staub, aufgewirbelt von hundert Pferdehufen; die Ohren taub vom Knall der alten Gewehre, scharfen Schiesspulvergeruch in der Nase. Ein Reiter liegt am Boden, vom harten R\u00fcckstoss seiner Waffe aus dem Sattel geworfen, sein Pferd macht sich vom Acker und muss eingefangen werden.
