Sie durchqueren die weiten, vom Wind gepeitschten Landschaften und treiben das Vieh auf dem R\u00fccken ihrer Pferde vor sich her \u2013 genauso wie ihre Vorfahren zwei Jahrhunderte zuvor. E ntschlossen tritt sie in die morgendliche K\u00e4lte hinaus. Sie tr\u00e4gt eine Bombacha, die sie in ihre Stiefel gesteckt hat, und eine Boina auf dem Kopf. Die Nase tief im Poncho vergraben, geht sie in Richtung Hundezwinger, wo sie bereits kl\u00e4ffend empfangen wird. Ein Dutzend Katzen, die sich zu einem grossen Kn\u00e4uel zusammengerollt haben, sieht uns dabei zu, wie wir uns zum Aufbruch bereitmachen. Die 37-j\u00e4hrige B\u00e9len r\u00e4umt ein: Als Frau hat man es in der sehr m\u00e4nnlichen und machistischen Welt der Gauchos nicht leicht.
