Seit mehr als zehn Jahren widmet er sich in seinen Arbeiten einem einzigen Thema: verlassenen Klavieren. In seiner Langzeitserie Requiem pour Pianos (Requiem f\u00fcr Klavier) erforscht er die fragile Grenze zwischen kulturellem Erbe und Vergessen. RomainThiery hat weltweit mehr als hundert verwaiste Klaviere dokumentiert.
